Happy Valentine’s Day

A day of love…..how lovely   ❤

 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

-1 Corinthians 13

Do me a favor today and remember that there is someone always loving you.

Have a LOVEly day!

  1. One of the greatest Commandments is: Love thy neighbor as thyself. Who is you neighbor? Everyone around you is your neighbor, so if you hate someone, serve them and turn you hate into Love. In Exudes, in the Old Testament of the King James version of the Bible, chapter 20 verses 3-17 are the Commandments that were given to Moses who led the Israelite’s out of Egypt.

  2. Love is not Lust. We usually mistake Lust for Love nowadays. Love you have self-control and you know what you are doing. Lust is an evil want, and you usually do not know what you are doing, and you do not have self-control.
    It is either I have a different version of the Bible, or that is the wrong scripture reference, because when I search up; 1 Corinthians 13 in the New Testament it says in verses 5-8

    5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
    6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
    7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
    8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

    and none of that really has to do with Love.
    I have the King James version of the Bible, if you wondering.

    1. Thanks for clarifying that love is not lust. Although I do not see how lust has anything to do with my post above. If there is something that relates to lust in my post I certainly had no intention of relating love to lust. My apologies for the confusion.

      I use the New King James Version of the Bible. I looked up the KJV translation and I see that the verses are quite different. Next time I refer to the Bible in my posts I will include the translation of the Bible that I am using to aviod any further confusion.

      1. You did not have anything in your post that had to do with lust, but we very often mistake lust for love, like one of King David’s sons. I had never heard of the KJV, but I have heard of the JST- Joseph Smith Translation.

      2. Oh, okay. Thanks for clarifying that my post didn’t have anything to do with lust. I was shocked when I first read your comment. But in every language there can be mis-communications.

  3. I know this comment is late, but I wasn’t on yesterday. Anyway, Happy Valentines to you too!! I love that verse from the Bible that you posted!

    Yesterday my family and I went to the old folks home (it’s a care center for old folks) and gave them valentines! They loved it and few of them even were going to cry from thankfulness! It was neat!

    1. It’s better late than never!

      I remember one Valentine’s Day when I was in elementary school my class went to an old folks home to dance and sing to the elderly. They really enjoyed it, so I can see how your visit yesterday really blessed the ones you encountered! That was so kind of you and your family!! I’m sure it was very rewarding for you to see their joy!

      Thank for sharing, I really enjoy hearing about special things like what you described to me!

      1. Thank you! I think it would be fun to dance with the old folks. A few of them were relaxing while watching TV. Some of them were sleeping, and some were just sitting in a chair. There were 9 total. So ya, not very big of a number, but they all had kind hearts! 🙂
