The Humble Christians

The ancient Greek and Roman practices were quite different from the Christian practices. Romans and Greeks were very proud, they did not want to help the poor or sick unless they could get paid or credited for it, in other words they didn’t do favors for free. The Christians helped the poor, sick, widows, and even their enemies, without expecting to get anything in return, their humility was great. They did not use the normal but very abnormal practices and ideals of the ancient Greeks and Romans.
